Cheatham County is west of Nashville and is nestled among rolling hills and flowing rivers. Some of Cheatham County's attractions include the Cheatham Wildlife area, a park that spans more than 20,000 acres; the Harpeth State Historical area, golf courses; and Cheatham Lake, a 67-mile lake offering fishing and water sports opportunities.

Three main communities, Ashland City, Kingston Springs, and Pegram, comprise Cheatham County. All three areas have been experiencing tremendous population growth over the last few years. New builder homes have been rapidly increasing as more people who work in the city have been buying homes in these more tranquil outlying areas.
