South Cumberland Recreation Area
About an hour and a half east on I-24, exit east at Monteagle (US 41A/64), and you'll find 12,000 acres of hiking that feature caves, waterfalls, deep valleys, and scenic overlooks. The area features some of Tennessee's most rugged trails. Visit the park's visitor center on US41A/64 between Monteagle and Tracy City.
